Welcome to Japan Karate Do. I am your instructor, Kathi Wegener, also known as Kathi Sensei. I am one of the fortunate students who trains directly with Shihan Fumio Demura in Santa Ana, California.

I have been teaching traditional Japanese Karate for the past 28 years in the Cities of Cypress and Lakewood. I teach through the Parks and Recreation Department. I do this to provide quality martial arts training at a reasonable cost. Please check out the class schedule page if you would like to join us.
